The Word for You Today

1.  “Questions about Your Vision”

• The word of the Lord came…in a vision.  Gen 15:1
• 90% of all disappointments come from unrealistic expectations
• Dream a little every day – explore possibilities and embrace options
• Celebrate each small step of success
• Keep growing as you pursue your vision – who you become is your biggest reward
• Peace comes from knowing you are where God wants you to be

2.  “Say ‘No!’”

• Think before you respond
• When your plate is full, say so
• Go with your gifts

3.  “Have You Lost Your Focus?”

• When your focus changes from God to the enemy, you can easily become overwhelmed
• Take time out to be alone with God to rest and refocus

1.  “What God Thinks about People who Gossip!”

a.  Gossip includes:

·         Talking about things that do not concern you – such as other people’s business

·         Repeating what you’ve heard even when you don’t know if it’s true or not

·         Talking as if you were the authority about matters not your business

            b.  Gossip:

·         Hurts others

·         Kills relationships

·         Destroys trust

·         Creates suspicions

·         Divides people

2.  “The Tongue Is Like a Snake!”

• The only way to tame the tongue is through the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit
